What is Neurolanguage Coaching®?

Neurolanguage Coaching is a new and exciting field that is gaining popularity among busy professionals who want to improve their communication skills. This type of coaching uses neuroscience-based techniques to help clients learn new languages more effectively. Neurolanguage Coaching can help you become a more proficient communicator in both your native language and any foreign languages you may be studying.

What sets Neurolanguage Coaching apart from other language-learning methods is its focus on the brain and how it learns. By understanding how the brain acquires and processes new information, Neurolanguage Coaches can design programs that are specifically tailored to each individual client. This personalised approach often leads to faster and more effective results than traditional language-learning methods.

By tailoring the learning process to the individual needs of each client, Neurolanguage Coaching can help people achieve their language learning goals more quickly, efficiently, and sustainably. Neurolanguage Coaches are certified by the ICF – International Coach Federation – and are therefore internationally accredited. This makes them some of the most qualified language coaches in the world.

How can Neurolanguage Coaching help busy professionals?

I help you achieve more than just specific language goals, by identifying underlying learning blocks, emotional triggers, and limiting beliefs around learning. I've seen learners gain transformational benefits far beyond just language skills, from improved creativity and problem solving skills, to greater confidence and calm in unfamiliar or high-stakes situations. You'll learn how to become more effective at using the language knowledge you already have, building on your creative and problem-solving skills so you can communicate effectively in any environment.

The benefits of exponential (not linear) learning

In my work as a language teacher and coach, I've observed two different kinds of progression in my students' learning. The first is what I would call linear: Each week we focus on one particular skill or area of grammar, and their ability improves accordingly. The second kind of progression is exponential, where the student's fluency and confidence increases dramatically without necessarily learning a lot more new language skills. This happens when the student starts using the language they already know more effectively and confidently, worrying less about making mistakes. In my experience, this second kind of progression is much more rapid and effective, and ultimately leads to a much higher level of proficiency.

How does Neurolanguage Coaching work?

Neurolanguage Coaching uses a learner-centred approach. Compared to classical language teaching, in Neurolanguage Coaching, the learner is much more active and takes direct responsibility for their own learning process. The learner is seen as the expert on their own learning, and though this may feel uncomfortable at first, I encourage learners to come up with their own examples, solutions, and ways to learn. We know that solutions you come up with yourself are much more likely to be effective and sustainable long-term, than when you're following directions or somebody else's advice. This also helps build confidence and a natural and spontaneous habit of solving your own problems independently - without a coach.

In Neurolanguage coaching, the coach works with the learner to help them set goals and achieve them. As your coach I also provide guidance and support throughout the process.

The investment cost of Neurolanguage Coaching is usually a 5-12-week private coaching programme, which is currently priced from £700 and up. If you are in full-time education or have other financial limitations, please get in touch. The services I offer are designed to produce sustainable results that last a lifetime. Unlike traditional language learning approaches, my focus is on how your brain works and what will work best for you as an individual. This means that the changes you make will be much more likely to 'stick' in the long term. In addition, as your coach, I will be there to support and encourage you every step of the way.
